This image of the emerging self hints at the beginnings of faith. There is a release alongside suffering which bares heavily. Healing is painful. In therapy it’s noted that the figure appears to be birthing in a primitive stance. It’s a difficult labour to allow one’s self to move on when moving on means letting go and processing loss.
