This image exudes self acceptance. Life is messy, motherhood is messy, relationships are messy.

The painting was nearly excluded from this exhibition over concern about it appearing too explicit. How it’s understood by the viewer is out of my control, however the ‘explicit’ burst of self confidence after years and years of putting myself down is exactly what I should be presenting and therefore honouring as it has lead to the near obliteration of my anxiety prison.
